I’m a writer, editor, and communications consultant in the incomparable Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia.
I take words seriously, and I have a lot of fun with them. I think grammar is both fabulous and somewhat malleable. Communication and language thrill me. I love nuance and tone. I am dotty about voice and messaging.
I help small businesses and solo entrepreneurs with copywriting and content strategy. These fine folks are generally up to their eyeballs (at the very least) running their businesses, switching between their plentiful hats, providing their services, and being awesome… so no surprise their copy is running amok. I lasso said copy, tame it, and comb its hair. And then I give it a megaphone. (The order of operations is pretty important there.)
